I have to say that Liverpool and Man U received the toughest assignments in this draw. The Man U draw sets up an interesting storyline with Beckham returning to Europe to train as well.

I personally think Barcelona is the most dangerous side and will take the title this year even though I’m cheering for Liverpool to continue it’s improbable run of Champion’s League successes.

I am stoked about the draws and am looking forward to some exciting matches to come. It is unfortunate that many of the matches take place at the same time and one can only watch a single match. Errr.

I agree, I would not want to play Barca at this point. They are dominating the field.

I’m pretty happy with these results (though of course, anything can still happen!)

Liverpool’s win was especially exciting with a really nice score towards the end. I didn’t expect this type of performance from Barcelona though, and the 0-0 in the Manch/Milan game isn’t that great. It looks like a safe bet that München are going the next round though, 5-0 isn’t something you see every day in the Champions.

And Liverpool made it nicely! 4-0 against Madrid. Sweet. Chelsea also won, so I guess English football should be happy.

England Football rules the world of Football. All the four clubs are through to the quarter-finals by beating world’s best sides like Juventus, Real Madrid, Inter Milan & AS Roma in the round of 16. Great!!!

I agree, that is the best action of the bunch. They should have had Chelsea – Arsenal, United – Liverpool so the drama would be intensified eight times over

Manchester didn’t do too well… what a shame. I’m more upset about Liverpool though, their defence game was terrible. Either way though, I doubt anyone would be able to tackle Barcelona. I’m hoping for surprises.

No matter who won, Liverpool or Chelsea, the task is daunting because Barcelona are tough. Chelsea deserved to move on because of the first leg. Tomorrow will be solid.

Manchester United is the lone team from England to play for the title once more. It should be an exciting match. The midweek should be a good part of the week.
